Recent project: drill rig access for an apartment complex
A site engineering firm needed to pull soil borings on a wooded, sloped parcel before an apartment complex broke ground. The boring plan called for sample locations spread across heavy timber on a hillside — no way the drill rig was rolling in cold.
Archon cut access trails through the side of the hill and benched in level pads at every boring location, sized for the geotech rig. Their crew rolled in, pulled core samples on schedule, and rolled out without a single delay for access issues.

Yes. We regularly work as a subcontractor to civil and site engineering firms, geotechnical engineers, land surveyors, and general contractors across Alabama. We carry our own general liability and workers' comp and provide COIs on request.
Can you cut access trails and build benches for geotechnical drill rigs?
Yes — this is one of our most common commercial jobs. We cut access trails through wooded sites and build level drill pads / benches sized to your rig, so your geotech crew can pull soil borings and core samples without getting stuck or losing days to access issues.
How quickly can you mobilize for a pre-construction site?
